Unique puzzle game

Family is a free and extraordinary puzzle game developed by Owl_Skip for desktop. In this detective game, you will unravel the history of the London pop scene from 1985 to 1995. Through various music hints and clues, you will figure out the members of each fictional and forgotten indie music band. This game can be highly nostalgic for '80s music fans.

Correctly guess the members of each indie band

From the very beginning of the game, you will immediately receive two documents containing limited clues that point to the members of every band. You can identify any musician by clicking on them and selecting a name from the book that you think belongs to that member. Once you’ve correctly picked five musicians, the screen will change to confirm those characters on your sheet and leave guessed members there. This is a very vital feature, as there are 30 musicians that you have to determine and it can possibly get you confused in the long run.

Every set of musicians you accurately guessed will lead you to more documents that consist of information about the remaining band members in the family tree. The clues given will highly intrigue you as it comes in different forms—snippets of a radio program, fragments of articles, and description about the bands, as well as the songs self-produced by the musicians. You’ll also be given hints about what position those musicians took and the dynamic of each band.

As this game is highly inclined with music, it also offers various music from the band that perfectly gives the vibes of the '80s and '90s era. You will only need to click the band name that you would like to give a hear and if none of the music you are listening is your style, then you can opt to stop it. On the other hand, the radio is also available if you wish to listen to other content.

Notable investigative game

Family is a recommended detective puzzle game for you to play. You will definitely have fun solving the clues while listening to indie '80s and '90s pop music. Not only that but this game also contains a great storyline and you will be engaged in every history of the band. This is truly a one-of-a-kind investigative game, as unlike the usual crime game scenes that you have to figure out, here, you only have to rightly guess the musicians and their names in order to win.
